Performance Management
Why have KPIs?

Performance management leads to higher performance, self responsibility and higher commitment from employees. It motivates staff by targeting effort, focuses individuals on the values of the organisation and encourages behaviour and norms. It ensures all individuals are contributing to the company’s strategic plan and goals. Clear KPIs avoid employees wasting time and effort working on the wrong tasks. Lastly, it records poor performance which can be used for disciplinary action and termination.
